    Registering a personal account at Strawtopia.com – If you register an account at Strawtopia.com, we collect and process the registration information that you provide, which is your user name, name, email address, date of birth, postal address, mobile number for the purposes of administering and securing your account on our site, contacting you when there is problem occurred. We collect ‘Date of Birth’ to validate that if you are at legal age (18) for online shopping. If you are, your account will be registered successfully; if not, you cannot sign up, and we will delete all of the information that you filled in the register form.

    Processing and fulfilling your order – We collect and use the Personal Information that you provide, such as your order details, postal address, and email address when you purchase an item on Strawtopia.com, for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your order, including sending you emails of your order status and shipment confirmation.

    Marketing / Promotion E-mail– We may send you our marketing/promotional emails when you consent to receive this information from Strawtopia.com. We process your email address for this request. And you have a right to opt-out of receiving these emails at any time if you do not want us to send these to you anymore; just unsubscribe it by following the instructions in the message.

    Loyalty Reward Program & VIP Program – The personal data that we may collect for these programs are the same as what you provided to us when registering a Strawtopia account. As Strawtopia Loyalty Program is directly connected with your registered account at Strawtopia.com, which means, when you sign up for an account, you will start earning points if you make a purchase or complete other activities but not a must, which means, you have a right not to do the activities. You have a right to join our VIP program or not. 

    Customer Service – We process the Personal Data (name, email address, purchase details, phone number) you provide to us when contacting our customer service team for the purposes of reviewing any issues you raise and when replying to you.

    3. Payment Methods

    We use third-party services such as PayPal for payment processing.

    Strawtopia.com will not store or collect your payment details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of personal information is governed by their Privacy Polic. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirement helps ensure the secure handling of payment information.

    4. Sharing of Personal Information

    For your privacy, we promise that we do not, and will not, sell any of your personal data to any third party; however, we may share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:

    If you ask us to remove your email address from promotional lists, we will comply with your request. It may take up to 5 working days to process your email request, during which period you may continue to receive communications from Strawtopia.

    6. Data Retention

    Strawtopia retains your personal information in order to provide you with our services and as described in our Privacy Policy. Your personal details will be stored in a non-EU server, where all data is stored encrypted in the U.S. and Hong Kong SAR.

    And we’ll only keep your data as long as you your account is active.

    7. Your Rights

      You have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. We describe these rights below:

      • Right to Access.You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about                                you by contacting us using the contact information below.
      • Right of Portability.You, the user, have rights to request us to send your personal information to you, or another person or service that you appointed. We will comply immediately when requested us to.  
      • Right to Amend (Change, restrict, delete).You have rights to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where we are required to store data for legal reasons) we will generally delete your personal information upon request.
      • Withdrawing Consent.Where you have provided your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your information and your use of the Services. For example, you can withdraw your consent to email marketing by the unsubscribe link in such communications or by changing your account settings. You can choose to withdraw your consent to our processing of your information and your use of the Services at any time by closing your account through account settings and then emailing privacy@strawtopia.com request information be deleted. This deletion is permanent and your account cannot be reinstated.
